As Dean of the School of Business and a proud alumna, I am so excited about Capitol Federal Foundation’s $20 million gift for a new School of Business building.
Since I became Dean a little more than a year ago, it has been my goal to make this school, your school, our school, a great place to learn, a great place to work, and a great place to invest.
I am particularly excited about this gift because it is a celebration of success in Kansas. Jack, John and other members of their family and the Capitol Federal Foundation are people who received an education in our wonderful state, who stayed here, established deep roots and have been very successful. Now they want to share that success with us. I am so grateful. And for generations to come, students and alumni will be grateful.
Their lead gift is a sign of trust. Lead gifts are also an inspiration to others. They are called lead gifts because they can do just that - lead others to give.
The Capitol Federal Foundation has allowed the KU School of Business to soar Far Above – giving future business Jayhawks the resources they will need to change the world.
