LAWRENCE-David von Kampen, a doctoral student studying music composition at the University of Kansas, was recently chosen as the 2012 winner of the National Band Association’s Young Composers Jazz Composition Contest. Read more.

KU Symphony Orchestra to present annual Halloween event at Lied Center: Featuring a ghoulish orchestra concert + community-wide costume contest!
LAWRENCE-The KU Symphony Orchestra/KUSO will perform a Halloween concert on Friday, October 26, 2012, at 7:30pm, in the Lied Center. Preceding the concert at 6:30pm will be a community-wide costume contest in the Lied Center Seymour Gallery. Read more.
